DVM
Synopsis: Lethal Believers: DVM
A year later, Danta, protector of The Innocents considers Lamia’s invitation to collaborate. The myth in search of rehabilitation wants the company of her stoic enabler, as their worlds merge with Kagan and Evan Brancher, who have experienced the loss of their champion horse, Random, by the scourge of Mantid Tranquil. With Mantid losing control of its DVM, worlds collide and there is collaboration to protect in response, but do The Innocents learn enough to protect one another? Is their determination, mythology, and strong values enough to make a positive difference in the chaotic world of unpredictable deceit? Are The Innocents learning enough to ultimately prevail against Mantid Tranquil, or, will Danta and Lamia collaborate and continue roping in the corrupted members of the insolent organization?
5.0 of 5 stars A Very Believable Lethal Twist!!, July 8, 2013

Just when you think you have read every possible story line or plot, a new twist of events and scenarios appears. "Lethal Believers D.V.M." is an intriguing, well written story that will have you in the saddle riding Random with ease and roping steer with Evan. You will find yourself tearing up over Danta's deceased Pauline...or is she? You will cry for The Innocents and grow to have a very deep hatred for Dr. Gray Simmons and his staff, who do nothing to help.
The scene with Random is so real, so heartbreaking, so emotional that I'd suggest Kleenex. It is a rare author that can make me scream "NO!" out loud while reading.
Believable characters melded with an excellently interwoven plot make this a "must read" and a very difficult book to put down once started. G. Mitchell Baker writes with a style that gives an awesome visual of the characters as well as the surroundings. Congratulations on an excellent book! http://tinyurl.com/mkmgyym
5.0 out of 5 stars I'd give Lethal Believers DVM ten stars if possible!, August 25, 2013

The first part of Lethal Believers Series was a great 5 star read but this second one...WOW! I'd give it ten stars if possible. Investigator Danta continues his battle against the evil, forming strange alliances as trying to help The Innocents. Danta teams up with Greek myth Lamia as they share a common goal. Protect The Innocents and fight on their behalf.
Ancient myths becomes alive, and a bed time stories are not just stories anymore when G. M. Baker skillfully entwines the story of Danta and the story of Kagan, her father Evan and a horse called Random together.
A very, very hooking story where every word matters and you simply cannot put it down until the book is finished! http://tinyurl.com/mkmgyym
